July

Hello there.I will start my post by saying so sorry...:-) Crazy summer. But lots of fun. A whole lot of traveling.
I also want to take a second and praise the Lord for healing Addie. Last night she woke up wheezng pretty bad, scary bad. Could not breath. I woke Sam up and said we needed to pray for her. Sam anointed her with oil we prayed a good prayer. We called Bro Smith to ask him to pray for her. While I was talking to Him, Her wheezing stopped totally. She fell asleep and slept until 8:30 and woke up happy. She is a little congested, but God healed my baby girl. Our God is still healing.

SO!!!!  I am still around. I will start with July. Since the last time I posted....  the end of June we got to visit with Chris and Tammy Hart. They were in Jal NM, of all places. It was great to see them and visit with them. Lots of laughs of course. Chris Hart can make you laugh frequently. It was great fun. My boys loved playing with their girls.

A week later we were off to Regional Convention. Great messages preached and wonderful fellowship.
A week after that we were on our way to AZ. Sam and I celebrated our 10 year Anniversary.I begged him to take me somewhere where we could be kidless for a day. Az it was. Angie and Scott were gracious enough to watch the kids for us. The kids did great. It was nice eating a dinner without kids saying, I need that, I don't want that, Stop brother. It was peaceful. However I was lost without my babies. It was weird, but refreshing. It was a night and a day without our little guys. This was the first time the kids were without me or Sam for an extended amount of time. But they did great and did not miss us at all. Ang and Scott had a blast.

We were home for two weeks and then we headed to Camp. That was fun as always. Missed having Keven and Michele. Keven brings lots of laughs to camp, but it was still great none the less. Bro. Brandon preached some great messages. The Lord came down and blessed that Last night. It was wonderful.

A week later we got a new van. Praise the Lord. I had been searching online for about 6/8 months for a van we could afford. I found a 2008 Honda Odessey . 65K miles. It was in Rowswell, Nm .We traded our Mazda in. They drove the Honda to Andrews took away the Mazda. It was a done deal at a great price. And we LOVE the room and space we now have. the kids love it as much as Sam and I  do.
Two weeks after that was the Assembly. I will save August for another post. :-)

Here are a few pictures from this summer.

These first two pictures are of Sam teaching the boys how to wash their hair in the rain. It was crazy and messy. I was so mad and I made him clean them up. It was crazy. I feel like sometimes I am raising 4 kids. HA!!!! Seriously, I would rather have a husband that likes to play with our kids then one that is to busy and uninterested.

The picture above is Texas Canon. We drive through this beauty crossing from Texas to Arizona .

Of course this a beautiful Arizona sunset. Nothing like them. I love all the cactus.

These last three are the boys admiring the new ladder firetruck  Andrews County recently purchased. They thought it was pretty cool sitting inside of it.

Jeremiah's first sermonette

Modesty.... (He calls it immodesty)
Not really a sermonette but it spoke truth. He was looking at a flyer from our local store Alco. There was a picture of some ppl in a swimming pool and Jeremiah says, Momma this magazine is yucky. I said why, he said the people are "immodesty". I asked why, He said they don't have any clothes on. ( bathing suits are no clothes)We need to throw this in the trash. I told him yes we do. Throw it in the trash . He then continued to say, Momma people that dress' immodesty' don't have Jesus in their heart. We need to pray for them. Let me say that I have never said that to him. That was his conclusion. I am so proud of my three year old. You know, kids make the obvious so obvious. If we do have Jesus in our hearts we should want to dress modest and not "immodesty" as my son calls it. We should strive to be modest and holy.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: ..... Heb. 12:14
Rob Taylor (my old CFA boss).... his wife posted this yesterday on fb.   In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; ........ 1Ti_2:9
She then admonished the young people to dress modest. She said it is summer time and I know it is hard to find modest clothing this time of year, but search until you find it. Let's be modest young people.
I was very blessed by her post. Her and Rob have raised 4 daughters and  you never saw cleavage or thighs. Those girls are some of the sweetest girls. I would say Rob and Maureen has raised some daughters to love God and modesty. All 4 of them \liked their mothers post. that is special. Mom's be the example and young people...Strive for modest apparel.

anyway. I am done. Jeremiah stirred some things in me and I had to post. God is good and he is good to show us things we need to consider. Summer is not an excuse to dress immodest neither are weddings. Let's be modest.  ALL the time.

So if you got passed my message.. HA!!!  In other news. Addie is trying to crawl. She really likes to scoot the best, but I am trying to get her to crawl. I put her on all fours and she rocks a little bit then moves in the upright position back on her bottom....crazy girl. Jeremiah has lots to say about lots of things siritual and life in general. He is very comprehensive and very wise for three. I just love him tons. Abey baby is something else. He makes you laugh like crazy. But oh boy, does he have a temper. We are really trying to nip in the bud as much as possible without the salvation power of Jesus Christ. HA!!  Actually sanctification is a MUST for this guy. :-) He is so fun and helpful if we can just work out this temper thing. He has SO much potential. He is motivated and very observant,  Can't imagine life without my Abey baby.
Sam and I are good. Sam is very busy these days with church, work and being a dad. He is a great dad. I always knew he would be. And then of course Archie dog has taken a back seat. poor dog. He is pretty laid back so he is taking all the changes well. :-)

I guess I better run. This is probably way to long. God bless you all. If I or my son offended anyone I am sorry.

Life is still busy as ever. I am finally starting to get a little bit of a routine. The first time in over two years. Addie is a good baby. That helps. She is more attached to me then my boys ever were and she does want me close. I am all she sees I guess, but she allows me to get things done. She will just sit and play a lot of the time.

We have had a great time of company. It was great to have Cathy and Daniel here for Easter. I don't usually get family on holidays. It was great. The pictures in the previous post show some pictures of them while they were here. We had a good time. The day after they left Genesis. Morgan and Chelsie showed up. SO much fun with those girls. IT WAS GREAT!!!!   They followed us to Youth Convention. Lots of fun. Youth Convention was great as always. Good food, fantastic preaching and wonderful fellowship. The Dorans showed up at convention. It was great fellow shipping with them.
After Convention the Dorans came back to Texas with us and the girls came back as well. LOTS of fun. We all had radios and had a blast car pooling. It ended kinda sad. 10 miles out of Andrews we got the call that Gen and Morgan's Aunt Donna had suddenly died. That was sad. We pulled over and prayed with the girls then came on back to Andrews. Keep praying for the Arellano family. Charlene still needs comfort from the Lord. It was a shocker. Very unexpected death of her daughter. That would be so hard. God be with  that family. The girls stayed a couple more days then headed on to Colorado for the funeral. The Dorans stuck around and we had a great time playing GAMES!!!!  That was wonderful. They were visiting with the possibility of moving here. The west Texas dirt and wind was not good on his lungs so they will be relocating to Albq, NM.  It will be great to have them in the region anyway.
They left and it was back to life.

The kids are growing. Abe just turned 2 a couple weeks ago and Talks like crazy and very very clear. He is a DADDIES BOY..... man is he attached to his daddy.  Jeremiah is 3. He will be 4 next month. can you believe that? He is my affectionate boy.  He is our politician. Great boy. And then there is little princess, as dad calls her   What a joy. She smiles all the time. She loves people as long as mom is holding her. She smiles at the whole world. Not interested  in  crawling. She scoots. She is 9 months already.
Life is not dull with my three little miracles. They are all very close and loves to play together and laugh at each other all the time. ~~~sigh~~~ life is beautiful and God is good to me.

So here are a few pictures ya'll can enjoy.

Little  Missy

this was my mothers day gift for our Mothers at church. I thought some of you would enjoy seeing the gifts.

Thank you Em for the cute notepads. This was the goods inside the cute bags. :-)

And my BOYS. As you can see from the dirty faces they are all boy. Always a mess.

The first horn toad of the season. That is Andy holding it. Sam is like a kid at a candy store when he sees the  first horn toad of the year, He gets real real excited :-)

Cousins. This was taken when Cathy and Daniel were here .

I thought I would throw this in for kicks. I knew some of you would enjoy seeing this. This is some of our church goers. Our regional paper is recognizeing a different church in every paper and this month was Andrews Texas so we had to take a picture for the paper. This was taken on Mothers Day. Patsy is the one on the far left. She is 84. a wonderful lady. Stacey Cruz is the next one. She is holding her great nephew who is Brooke's baby..... the girl next to Stacey. It was nice to have Sharry Sloan and Brooke with us on Mothers day from Arkansas.  Sharry is holding Jeremiah. Sue Fox is holding Addie. And then there is me obviously. Steven is a young man that has been attending for about 4 years now. He is great, He is the one  next to me and Robert  is the one on the far right. He is a guy that lives down the street that has been coming about two years now.  We are missing a some, but this is our crowd.

pictures pictures pictures

Since I can't seem I to find the time to post. I was hoping you all would like to see some more pictures. We did not have a computer the whole month of February and part of March. Finally got one and the month of April has been packed full of company which I love. Between that and 3 babies posting is hard. Please forgive me and let the pictures be my peace offering. :-)

I thought this might make someone smile.  Daniel and Sam having fun in the shadows ...they loved doing this.

Cathy and I were not near as good.  We were just being silly. ....

Cathy and I and our girls. We were trying to find outfits that match. Very hard to do when you are looking for 18-24 mths and 3-6 mths.. They are lifetime away from each other in baby clothes. This is all we got. They had to match you know. :-) ( by the way these pictures were taken at the high school football field. They do an annual community easter egg hunt on the Saturday before easter. Cathy and Daniel were visiting obviously  the week before. It was so much fun)

Sweet babies. Addie's head looks huge in this picture HA!!

Easter morning. Love having Mine and Cathy's kids so close in age. God loves us very much to give us kids close in age. It is great..... and they get along so well. That makes it better.
